On the Road Again with ownAI!
Watch out, America - we’re excited and honored to be traveling to a number of wonderful conferences starting next month.
First, we’ll present at the National Center for Employee Ownership’s Fall Forum in Philadephia on August 28th. With our colleague Mark Brennan from Pariveda, we’re going to do a 90 minute workshop entitled, “AI Idea Sprint: Jump-Start Innovation in Your ESOP Today with Artificial Intelligence.” It will be a hands-on, interactive experience where we help attendees tackle actual workflows and pain points with our custom framework on applying AI. We came to this conference last year as attendees, and presented at the Annual Conference in the spring, so we know what a great group of people will be there.
Speaking of great, next we head to Arlington, Texas in September for the Great Game of Business conference! If you know us personally, you may know what huge fans we are of open-book management and the Great Game — all started by SRC and legend Jack Stack in Springfield, MO.
They believe all employees in the business should be taught how the business works from financials to operational costs, that they should keep score through transparent KPIs, and that employees should have a stake in the outcome (i.e. profit-sharing, bonuses, or equity ownership.) The Great Game is now practiced all over the world and it has been hugely successful. They’ve inspired a lot about the way we think about AI adoption — and how it’s done best by empowering everyone in an organization — so we couldn’t be more pleased and honored to present at such an incredible event.
The following week, on September 17th, Michael will present with colleagues Ryan Fredericks and Alexa Lott at the Midwest Regional ESOP Association Conference in Chicago / Oak Brook, IL! We’ll be discussing AI adoption and its challenges and opportunities, and judging by the prep sessions we’ve had so far, this should be a really engaging and informative session.
If you’re in the area for any of these events, please do consider attending! Or, reach out and let’s chat.
